The Rucker is an active dayruck. Perfect for rucking and the GORUCK Challenge. It integrates with Ruck Plates, which unlike laptops, don’t break. And if any other company had built the Rucker, they’d call it a laptop bag, and probably the best ever. But it’s not, that’s GR1’s job.

Special Forces Grade Materials

The materials we choose are proven to thrive in war. YKK Zippers perform despite Middle East sandstorms, and 1000 denier CORDURA® is the preferred material for Special Forces rucks due to its strength to weight ratio and durability.

Badass American Construction

High stress points are strength tested at over 400 lbs. The Rucker is capable of holding more weight than any human should ruck with.

MOLLE Attachments

3 rows of external MOLLE webbing let you customize your Rucker how you want. MOLLE is the same system used by our Armed Forces to attach life-saving sensitive equipment, such as ammunition.

Hip Belt Integration

Integrates perfectly with a hip/waist belt to spread the load across your hips when rucking. Using MOLLE gives you the choice to have it if you want and not have it if you don't want it.

Built-In Frame Sheet

Supports the integrity of the pack as you weigh it down and ultimately allows you to carry a heavier load more comfortably. If there were no frame sheet, the ruck would curl in on itself too much when you cinch it down on your shoulders.

Ruck Plate Pocket

The Rucker's large internal pocket is optimized to hold Ruck Plates of any size (10, 20, 30, or 45 LB). Secured with VELCRO and double-Layered for safely stacking multiple Ruck Plates.

Hydration Bladder Loop

Built-in VELCRO loop secures your hydration bladder and allows gravity to do its job.

Hydration Port

Exit port for hydration bladder tube found under the top handle of the ruck.

Silent Zipper Pulls

YKK zippers with silent, glove friendly zipper pulls constructed from parachute 550 cord. There is no good reason why zippers should make noise when rucking (or assaulting). Ours don’t.

Extra Padded Straps and Handle

Shoulder straps and top handle are extra padded to carry heavier loads more comfortably.

Opens Flat

Easy to pack and organize. Special Forces medical rucks share a similar design.

Two internal pockets: one large mesh zippered pocket and one small go-to zippered pocket. External slant pocket provides quick access to keys, snacks, and other small items.

2" x 3" VELCRO

Allows you to customize your Rucker with the patch of your choice.

By military-spec submersion tests, waterproof means you could repeatedly submerge something and its contents would stay entirely dry. Our rucks are highly water resistant aka rainproof.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent with compromise This pack has great quality like all of gorucks products but like always it comes with some compromises. I've used this pack for just about everything and that's the beauty of gorucks products is that they fit in such variety of roles. However it is a $200 pack that doesn't come with a waist belt or chest strap but that's like every GORUCK pack. GORUCK combines casual with tactical which something not many companies can do and that's really what your paying for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rucker is one tough bag Based on recommendations from some friends who have GORUCK equipment I bought my Rucker along with 10, 20, and 45 lb plates. I have not been disappointed. I've used it for hiking and exercise. This pack handles any combination of those plates with ease and distributes the weight for a very comfortable carry. No load shifting to throw you off balance during critical steps. And it's large enough for some extra gear like rain shell, first aid kit, snacks, etc. I balked a bit at the cost but now that I've had it I would definitely spend it again. Well made and built to last. Wish they had a 10l or 15l version to throw in the car with a plate for spur of the moment rucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome The first time I really used the Rucker was to hike up Ben Nevis (highest Mountain in the UK) via the CMD Arête, it held my Geigerrig hydration pack perfectly and all my food and bad weather gear without a problem. I have to say that being the first time of using it I was really happy that it didn't rub and it was always comfortable and I forgot most the time it was even there

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag, get one. Since I received my bag (about a month ago) it has been my EDC for work. Enough room for what I need with the help of some organizational pouches. I find that the pouches to carry the ruck plates work great for keeping those just-in-case essentials out of the way. The bag doesn't come with external bottle sleeves (I knew that when I ordered it) and I may add some in the future but for now my 40oz bottle fits in the bag just fine. The shoulder straps are still a bit stiff but that is to be expected as they are super beefy. I used it today on an unexpected 5mile walk home when I had to drop my car off at a mechanic for some emergency work and found it very nice (by the way I ordered a sternum strap and it was much appreciated on this trek). The only issues I have is that my back can get sweaty due to way it is designed (again to be expected with this type of bag) but something else to be aware of is how the heavy duty cloth rubbed and started to pill my sweatshirt. The bag is tough and can be tough on your clothes as well. As for the color the blue is great. Not to bright or dark. The Ingress Resistance decal is no big deal for me in fact I started to play the game so I could feel like I "deserved" the bag. At the price I paid ($99) go for it, heck go for it even if it's more.
