About Travis Manion Foundation
"If Not Me, Then Who..."
Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.
Honoring fallen heroes is at the crux of what we do at TMF. We believe it is our duty to preserve their legacies of character and service for this generation, and the next. Inspired by the fallen and led by a community of veterans and surviving family members, we serve our communities in their memory, pass on their stories to the next generation of leaders, and challenge ourselves physically and mentally to be worthy of their sacrifice. May their example inspire a call to action and encourage us to always ask, “If Not Me, Then Who…”
WHO WE ARE: Travis Manion Foundation is a national veteran serving organization. We provide a community for veterans and families of the fallen to help them successfully transition to the next step in their journeys.
WHAT WE DO:
Service & Leadership Expeditions: Veterans and families of fallen heroes find healing after loss and hone their individual leadership skills by coming together on multi-day expeditions. They share camaraderie by serving different communities in need, in honor of lost loved ones. We host 8 domestic and international expeditions each year.
Personal Development Seminars: Travis Manion Foundation is reaching thousands of with our personal development and training programs. We deliver “Leading with your Strengths” Seminars to veterans and families of the fallen to equip them with the knowledge they need to thrive outside the military.
Youth Character Development & Mentorship Program: Through Character Does Matter, veterans, family members of fallen heroes, first responders, and law enforcement officers mentor youth 12-18 years old to develop character, cultivate leadership, and instill selflessness through the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos. Drawing on their leadership experience, Mentors aggregate stories from their personal lives and current events to deliver a presentation or leadership course that is dedicated to a fallen hero and continues their legacy of character in the next generation of leaders
Operation Legacy Service Projects: Each year, TMF works with thousands of volunteers to design local service projects to meet the most critical needs of the community. Each project is dedicated to the memory of a fallen hero so we will never forget their service and sacrifice.
*All December long an anonymous donor will match TMF donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $1Million, in support of programs that assist families of the fallen. This month, your donation goes twice as far.*
