A Merino Tee That You Can Wear 24/7, 7 Days a Week

What you need to know: a Merino wool tee with structure and abrasion resistance on your shoulders and elbows . Over time, even though merino wool shirts don’t take on stink, they stretch out unnecessarily. If you want to wear the same shirt for a week, you can do that but works better when it’s still got some structure to it.

Under the load of a heavy rucksack, cloth begins to stretch. To counter this, instead of a high blend of nylon (which cheapens the wool), we added a layer of our Indestructible training fabric to the shoulder area that won’t pill under any circumstances. Along with this abrasion resistance, this layer also provides additional structure to help the shirt hold its shape under long periods of stress.

Merino wool is a natural material, it doesn't come from man made plastics or synthetics. It's lightweight, breathable and soft to the touch. It wicks away moisture and odors, and it helps regulate body temperature. Merino wool shirts are the best answer to base layer and travel clothing in the world - they’ve been in use for hundreds of years and have proven themselves over and over again.

Features
  • Cut like your favorite tee with added performance benefits
  • Reinforced shouldering and elbows with Indestructible Training Fabric
  • Wear it daily due to it's moisture-wicking, insulating, temperature-regulating, odor-resistant, breathable and elastic qualities
  • Low percentage of only 11% Nylon blend to help it retain its shape, but not sacrifice the quality of the product. Too little Merino in the fabric will feel like sandpaper and smell.
  • Built in the USA with wool sourced from New Zealand
  • Small GORUCK Spearhead on the chest
  • Care Instructions: Do not bleach, Machine wash cold, Hang dry

What Makes Our Merino Tee Better than the Rest:

The Perfect Merino Blend

Reinforced Shouldering

Comfortable on Skin

Not all wool is prickly, heavy and lumpy. Merino is the world’s finest wool and feels soft and lightweight, which is why it’s often used in next-to-skin clothes – like underwear and socks.

Regulates Temperature

What really sets merino apart is its breathability – it's able to prevent overheating and cool you down when conditions heat up. Merino’s natural ability to regulate body temperature means you pack fewer clothes and stay comfortable in any weather.

Odor-Resistant

It’s not your perspiration but the build-up of bacteria that creates an unpleasant smell. Unlike synthetic fibres, merino wool naturally resists bacteria and odor retention.

History of Wool in the Military

While wool has always been the primary fiber in all U.S. Armed Forces dress uniforms, military leaders are again looking at modern wool as an under-layer and for its benefits surrounding heat resistance and flame retardancy for our troops.
