Embrace the Suck
The Most Streamlined Way to Add Weight to Your Workout
The Ruck Plate Carrier™ (aka RPC) houses a 20 LB or a 30 LB Ruck Plate® (sold separately) and is worn high and tight on your back for natural stability. Your chest stays open so you can breathe better to push harder, and it’s easy to clean — just hang to dry.
Your intensity during workouts should be the reason you feel like you’re suffocating — not your equipment.
RPC 2.0 // New Features
Developing the Ruck Plate Carrier™ 2.0
We took the material changes and the lumbar support that we introduced on the Rucker 3.0 and tried them on the Ruck Plate Carrier - a logical step. It was early in the quarantine, I had too much time on my hands to move heavy stuff around (if that’s possible) and so I put this new RPC 2.0 through the ringer which basically means I just integrated it into my daily thrasher sessions that helped me stay sane dealing with our kids. I say that with love, and because it’s real talk (God Bless teachers).
Zero friction burns mean you can use it shirtless (or with a sports bra if you’re a badass babe), it’s minimalist and easy to scale up with Sandbags, and when training calls for a 400 meter run around the block, it’s fine to have no weight but kinda weak sauce. Life is better with 20 or 30 extra pounds. Might as well get stronger while you get faster.
