On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, severing the 13 American colonies from Great Britain. Drafted primarily by Thomas Jefferson, it outlined reasons for separation, provided a list of grievances, and established America’s foundational principles of natural rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
In honor of that watershed moment, we will ruck 17.76 miles. And we encourage you to wear red, white, and blue and carry Old Glory at the front of your formation!
