The foundation of all GORUCK Events is the wartime experiences of our Cadre. They are all decorated combat Veterans of Special Operations who have served America, and Americans, honorably across the globe. Through GORUCK, their service continues at home, as they are tasked to teach people how to overcome adversity as individuals and as teammates, aka Building Better Americans.

The GORUCK TAKEOVER is more than your typical ruck meet-up — it’s a high-energy, full-send community event built to bring people together and show them what the GORUCK life is all about. Think grit, teamwork, and unforgettable vibes — with full support from GORUCK HQ to make it happen.

We’ve authorized GORUCK Cadre to lead hundreds of official GORUCK Events in their home cities and wherever they travel. These are fully sanctioned events led by trusted Cadre. Democratized and decentralized across the world and powered by Sandlot.
