GR1 USA - Waterproof X-PAC
GR1 opens flat to make it easier to pack, organize, and find something when on the go. Special Forces medical rucks share a similar design. Inside you'll find 3 interior pockets: 1 large elastic pocket, 1 large mesh zippered pocket, and 1 small go-to pocket.
The separate compartment next to your back is extra reinforced to securely take a laptop into combat. The frame sheet adds structure and stability so it's not you computer that's keeping the GR1 in its shape. Keep your most important item of gear safe wherever you go.

"I bought my first GR1 (velcro on the back panel) in 2018 and used it daily for 8. 5 years. It showed very little wear after all that time, but it recently got stolen from my truck! I just ordered another one and customer service has been great to work with. You can’t get a better bag. Highly recommend and check out their custom shop to add some small features as well!"
"The backpack is excellent, and the quality lives up to expectations. One area for improvement, however, is inventory management. This isn't my first time buying from the brand—I previously purchased the GR2—but this time around, I couldn't choose the color I wanted because it wasn't available. I live in Argentina and only travel to the United States for vacations, so I don't have the option of waiting for the product to come back in stock. I believe they should maintain better availability, especially for the classic black model, which is the brand's best-selling and most iconic version."

"I use this bag regularly as a gym backpack and it’s also my go to bag whenever I travel. It’s incredibly rugged and comfortable and it holds a ton of stuff. I’ve also picked up a couple of shorts from here and a pullover and I’ve been super impressed with the quality. I get that it’s expensive but this is one of the few times I feel like you are really getting what you pay for."

"Very sturdy and well laid-out backpack. I've used it three times in the week that I've had it and it had given me a great workout. I am disappointed that it didn't come with chest and waist straps. (I have just ordered both. ) Maybe with more use, the straps will become less necessary or maybe I have started with too much weight (35 lbs. ) but I feel the need to shift around where the weight is supported that the straps enable."

The 1000D Cordura material has a distinct tactile sensation, feeling organic and pleasant to touch. The zippers are robust, smooth with little resistance. Each compartment can store items with little interference into other areas, maintaining efficient capacity. I don’t mind the absence of a side water bottle pocket and found that it enhances the backpacks design. It’s also comfortable to carry, have not experienced any discomfort or abrasion issues."
