TOUGHMESH™ FABRIC — THE ITALIAN JOB

Built in the USA, a featherweight training shirt that thrives during your hardest workouts and dries lightning fast. We built these tees to our exacting standards using proprietary, made-in-Italy ToughMesh™ fabric.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” - da Vinci

ToughMesh™ is our world-class, featherweight fabric milled at the foothills of the Italian Alps, not far from where da Vinci painted The Last Supper. It took us five years to develop, test and prove a fabric that could thrive in our way of life — no cost, time, or rigor was spared to create a line of apparel that’s tough enough to endure the demands of rucking and training and will dry long before you can drink your first beer, which will be well earned.

We’re proud of the outcome — wear it hard.

Features

  • Built out of world-class, featherweight ToughMesh™
  • Badass GORUCK spearhead on chest
  • Made in the USA
  • Off the shoulder seams for minimal friction when rucking

Specs and Materials
  • Charcoal: 80% Nylon, 15% Elastane, 5% Polyester
  • Black & Ranger Green: 85% Nylon, 15% Elastane
  • Acid Lime: 85% Polyamid, 15% Elastane
  • About ToughMesh™:
  • “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” - da Vinci. T’s transition easily from the driveway to the streets to the bar. With and without a ruck on your back.
  • ToughMesh™ weighs only 100GSM (grams per square meter). That’s 30-40% less weight than normal performance fabrics.
  • To make the fabric tough enough, we use nylon (then add a little stretch). The polyester version repeatedly failed our testing and cost us an extra year that we’ll never get back.
  • Every roll of fabric takes 6 hours to complete, using 44 gauge needles. Standard fabric takes 45 minutes and uses 20 gauge needles. Quality takes time.
  • Mini-perforations are woven into the fabric to increase airflow, speed up dry time and decrease weight. They’re small and mighty but do not dominate the aesthetic of the shirt.
  • Antimicrobial treatment is added into the fibers themselves, before the fabric is woven in Italy. This process ensures a significantly longer lifespan of odor resistance across repeated washings. Lesser fabrics are simply “coated” after they’re milled - which wears off in just a few cycles of a high powered washing machine.
  • UPF 35 (this provides 97%+ coverage) to protect your skin from the sun.
  • Off the shoulder seams remove friction while wearing a ruck - which we hope you do often.

Amazing!

"Tanks are super comfy! It’s stretchy so a small fit me great as I normally wear a medium! Amazing quality and my go to for undershirt under my work clothes! Feels like you’re not wearing anything at all! Can’t wait to ruck with them! Just hope for more colors! I will buy them for sure!"

Men's Tank Top

"The top performs as advertised and I'm very satisfied with it. I think it's a mistake for companies to seek a product evaluation within minutes of the item arriving. There's no way to give an honest evaluation of quality and performance in the first few days after the product arrives. In the very brief time I've had this tank top, I'm quite pleased with it. Time will tell if it delivers long-term satisfaction."

John C. (5/5)

Great material, needs more length

"Great material and fit except it could be a little longer. I'm 6' 0" tall and the large sits just below the waist, the medium is right at my waist."

Davi S. (4/5)

Next best thing to shirtless

"This shirt is the only thing that gets me through those 100% humidity workouts when I just plain don’t want to wear a shirt, but decorum demands one."

Evan B. (5/5)

Great Shirt

"ToughMesh shirts are fantastic for working out, especially in the heat. I highly recommend wearing one for their wicking ability and overall comfort."

Greg S. (5/5)

Great light shirt

"Great running top. Probably lightest one I’ve found. Nice to have here in South Florida. Just need more colors."

David P. (5/5)

Just a tank top

"It’s just a tank top"

Stew A. (4/5)

Fantastic

"One of the lightest, most breathable, best fitting, and most moisture wicking shirts I have ever had the pleasure of exercising in. Plus it is made in America. Highly recommended."
