We cut a hole in our plates to take the weight off your diaphragm, improving breathing during tough workouts and recovery between sets. The cutout, as well as the contoured design, also makes the vest a whole lot more comfortable.

"Once again, top quality from Goruck. I've spent more money with this company than I'm willing to admit to my wife, but I've never regretted a single purchase. I wasn't sure on the size so reached out to the team to get their input. . . and it was spot on. 5'11" and 155lb male; S/M fits perfect. The plates are super easy to install (ignore the reviews that complain about this) and the build quality is excellent. The front magnetic pocket is a bit tight for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, but it does fit (including the case). Took the vest out for a quick three mile run and it was a dream. The cummerbund was initially a bit too loose so it was bouncing up, but easily adjusted to give a more snug fit. No hot spots or blisters as the shoulder straps are well padded and the plate shape gives lots of relief for your lungs."

"It’s comfortable in the midst of a workout. It’s taking me a little bit to adjust to wearing it since it is my first weighted vest like this. I feel like there is very little movement of the vest when doing quick work or even decline push ups. Overall very satisfied with my purchase! The one thing I would say, is that I’ve recently lost quite a bit of weight and if I wouldn’t have, I’m not sure this would fit me in the L/XL. It could be a little bigger or maybe some larger side straps that can be swapped out."
