The GR1 is the toughest Rucksack on planet Earth, built for cities, warzones, and everywhere in between. We handed this 21L workhorse over to the mad scientists at Scars to forge a one-of-a-kind tribute to the birth of the nation.

In 1776, a defiant group of rebels put their lives on the line to declare independence from an empire. To win that freedom, the original 13 colonies had to stand united. This custom Ruck channels that foundational grit. The front panel upgrades the standard stealth look with 13 custom sewn-in stars framing the patch area, a direct salute to those first colonies that forged the United States. Unzip it flat, and the main compartment is lined with bold American flag material. It’s a fierce, unapologetic homage to the origins of American independence, hidden inside a Ruck that’s built to take a lifetime of abuse.
