GORUCK EVENT WEEKEND: RUCKER OF LOOKOUT MOUTAIN
CHATTANOOGA, TN

Join us for Ruckers of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, TN.  Over the weekend, you can take on GORUCK Classic Challenges that emphasize teamwork, mental toughness, and problem-solving under load, all led by experienced cadre who know how to push you safely and effectively.

There will also be a guided 12 miler trail ruck on the Stringers Ridge loops, offering a mix of approachable terrain, steady climbs, and scenic views that are ideal for testing endurance. Cadre will lead the 12 Miler - Trail Rucks at a 20-minute-mile pace. Please be prepared to ruck at 3 mph for the duration of the 12 miles. You may use any weight that allows you to maintain this pace.

GORUCK is The Rucking Company and we have executed over 10,000 rucking events since 2010, empowering a global community of ruckers. The GORUCK Challenge is our flagship and original team building event. The City Ruck Series is a great way to join GORUCK Nation, to meet people who live our way of life, and to explore your city or a new one on foot.

When you successfully complete an event, your Cadre will hand you a cold beverage and a patch that will never be for sale.

EVENT CADRE: CADRE HAND

Cadre Hand loves America, “Old Glory”, and a cold beer after issuing a good GORUCK beatdown. Aaron is dedicated to building better Americans through Special Forces based teamwork (and tough love). Aaron is a U.S. Army Veteran and civilian DOD Emergency R.N. who has 33 years of combined Federal service, with 21 years of military service, including 13 years of Special Operations experience as an Airborne Ranger Sniper in the 3rd Ranger Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment (3/75) at Fort Benning Georgia and as a Green Beret communications expert with 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (2/5) at Fort Campbell Kentucky. Cadre Hand can hit ‘em from a mile away, and patch up the wounded, while calling in an airstrike. These days he likes to focus on GORUCK team challenges, teaching teamwork and leadership under stress.



He has deployed to Somalia, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and Panama.



His qualifications include United States Army Sniper School, JFK Special Warfare Center and School Special Operations Target Interdiction Course (SOTIC), Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course (TCCC), Advanced Cardiovascular Lifesaver Course (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Lifesaver Course, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
