The World's Most Innovative Weight Vest
Breathe better when rucking or training — with our innovative Curved Ruck Plates (yes there’s a big hole in them, yes it works great), you can talk better to the person next to you, or push even harder in your training without suffocating your diaphragm. Combine breathing better with rucksack straps that disperse the weight expertly, and this is a best in class weight vest.
We believe that the more comfortable something is, the more you’ll want to use it. And given all the gains to be had from carrying weight, we hope you use it hard and have fun in the sun doing it.
Sizing: L is designed to fit most men. The front and back panels are identical across sizes, the difference is in the shoulder straps and cummerbund. As a result, the S may sit higher on bigger people.

Together
"Tribes together. I love how rucking as got the tribe out doing stuff together. Best thing I have done getting discovering Goruck, got the family away from devices and out of the house. Who would have figured. Happy Memories, happy dad."
Bigger size
"I just purchased the rock weight fest and I absolutely love it being a retired veteran of 38 years all infantry. I have worn my Fair share of rucksacks assault packs and plate carriers. The only recommendation I would make would be this have a bigger size for I am a big man Ior make vests with adjustable straps. I have a hard time strapping this to my chest other than that I love it. I use it every day in the gym."
Awesome...built like a tank
"Fit and finish is exception. I am a little larger than most and the waist straps are not long enough for me. I bought a Cummerbund Attachment to expand it a little. GoRuck make some longer straps for the husky folks."
20lb Weight Vest
"Love the fit and feel. Only criticism is that the front pocket is way too small and tight to fit anything in it; especially a phone. I would rather just not have it and save some money on its cost."
Rocks for Rucking Rookie...
"As one new to rucking, I took a flyer on this vest as I knew/understand that Goruck's reputation for quality is good. I'm 5' 6" (5' 7" on a great day!), so I opted for the small/medium version in Coyote Brown, with the (ultimately) 20lb weights that fit perfectly inside. I've rucked with this vest a handful of times now, usually between 2 miles (min. ) or 5K in length to get started. For me, this is a great combo, and as I get more experience, I'm sure I'll add weight in due course--probably five pounds at a time. I do find that you do adjust quickly enough to the added weight (good shoes help too), and that even with the extra pounds, my walk times are coming down a bit compared to carrying no weight--perhaps there's something subliminal saying "get on with it!"; I leave it to you to decide."
too small not adjustible enough.
"I am 6'4", 250 lb. Between the design of the curved plate and the lack of adjustability in the vest, it digs into my pecs and makes it hard to breathe. I have been an officer for almost 8 years. I wear a heavier outer carrier every day at work. It is far more comfortable than this. Even the rifle plates and carriers are more comfortable. This sucks because the quality isn't bad. The cummerbund straps are basically non-elastic, and at their furthest extension, it barely connects for me; when I have them tightened down so they don't bounce around, the lack of flexibility makes it hard to breathe. Looking at it, I think the cummerbund straps are supposed to be elastic, but the thread in the top seam is not, which makes it rigid. This is compounded by the design of the weights, causing the vertical bars to dig into my pecs. Unless I barely have the cummerbund straps attached, the vest doesn't rest on my shoulders. I have no way to tighten up the shoulders, so it just basically rides on my shoulder blades and pecs. I am a big guy, but not that big."
Beyond Awesome
"What an awesome piece of equipment. The quality is excellent and I am very pleased with this investment !! Really enjoy the attention to detail. I use it frequently!!"
Something for everybody!
"Over the headVest style Works great for my husband, but I prefer the backpack with the belt since I have a petite frame. Without the waist belt it’s too much weight on my shoulders and it hurts my traps. Backpack with waist belt is a lifesaver."
