LIGHT, TOUGH, GETS THE JOB DONE

I was in Costa Rica and had my big-ass bag. The problem? The nearest spot to buy beers was a f’ing trek. I was grateful I had the Packable Bullet to use as a tear away that I could load up with beers.

You could fault me for not wanting to lug my big bag, but trust me, this was the right move. It’s wet as hell down there—rain, sweat, you name it.

Key Features

An open GORUCK backpack with cans of soda and a black pouch inside, placed on a rock outdoors.

FLEXIBILITY ON THE FLY

The lightest and most compact “second ruck” for when flexibility matters in an ever-changing environment. The Packable Bullet is designed to be your ruck-within-a-ruck for short trips away from home base, then stowed back in the included pack pouch when it's time to move.

ADAPT AND OVERCOME

This bag thrives in unpredictable environments. Robic nylon is up to 50% stronger with up to 2.5x the tear strength compared to standard nylon 6 fabrics, while being lightweight enough to bring as a secondary ruck when adaptability is key and water becomes a threat.

WELDED SEAMS

Seams are a weak point for both tears and moisture. The Packable Bullet’s internal stitching is completely tape-sealed to reinforce the seams (so they’re stronger) while keeping water out.

AQUAGUARD ZIPPERS

Zippers handle moisture just fine. AquaGuard zippers thrive in it. We tested this bag in Costa Rica where we knew its ability to stand up to the elements would be put to the test. It passed.

EASY IN, EASY OUT

Features that take up your time, or make things less convenient aren’t features at all. The Packable Bullet can be packed down to the size of a sandwich bag in just 30 seconds–and taken out even faster.

INTERNAL SNAP HOOK

Keep the pack bag handy and secure when you’re not using it, so you can easily pack it up when you're back at home base. It also doubles as an internal pocket for stashing your valuables.

Reviews

Best travel pack

"I leave this guy packed in its pouch and just toss it in a bag that I am taking with me. If I am out shopping and need to free up my hands, pull the pouch out, pop out the bullet and fill it up. Glorious. I think this thing is perfectly priced for what it is, and the quality is exactly what I hoped it would be."

It's awesome.

"Took this as a daypack on a trip to Australia. Super comfortable, kept everything dry in the rain and took up virtually zero space inside my checked bag. Built extremely well, very tough for a lightweight rig. Really the only mod I would request would be an external sleeve for a water bottle. If you're on the fence just buy it - it's a fantastic little pack."

— Corey (5/5)

Does what it’s made for

"It served it’s purpose well. Just used it in Costa Rica to quick throw some things in and head to the beach, gym, or a few drinks while walking around. Back panel is obviously thin for portability so make sure nothing sharp or awkward is packed that will dig into your back. Easily solved using a t shirt or towel for some cushioning."

Farmer's Market Ruck

"This bag is great to carry around stuffed and then break out to carry some mid-weight stuff like groceries. The melons are the farmer's market are pretty heavy, it's nice to throw them on my back for the walk back home. Nice and simple, this will be coming to Spain with me as my day bag as the GR2 packs the rest of my clothes."

— Damien R. (5/5)

Great Veteran Support

"Love my ruck, great deal off Govx and love that GoRuck is veteran owned and that they support veterans. Ruck is tough and excellent quality."

— William A. (5/5)

Great to keep on hand

"Haven't used it heavily yet, it's a good packable option to keep at the ready. Lightweight, well made, good design. Well worth it."

— Jim J. (5/5)

Awesome

"I got the larger packable bullet in ranger green and it's awesome. It's great for days when the GR2 is overkill and even better for stuffing at the bottom of a GR2 when traveling. Wears well and looks great. Super impressed at how tough this thing is considering it packs into the size of a fist."
