Stopped the tingling and numbness in my hands/arms
"The padded hip belt was what my shoulders needed to take some of the pressure off. I was getting tingling in my hands and arms after about 15-20 minutes of rucking with only a 20 lb load. The video on the website was superhelpful to attach the belt correctly. My only issue was that I was right at the cutoff between a small and a regular/large sized belt. I chose the larger belt which took a lot of pressure off my shoulders. I’m just wondering what the smaller size would have been like, if it would have fit and taken even more pressure off. My waist is 32"-33”."

After thought FLOP
"I like to hike the hills by house and load my ruck sack with 20 - 50lbs. But 50 was always too much on my shoulders so I was excited to try this new belt out. I was pretty disappointed. First, it does not do the job of taking the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips. It takes some weight off the shoulders, but I felt it more in my stomach and back then on my hips. The belt does not sit on the hips even though I am not a tall person. 5’8” Second, one side came undone while hiking. And it pulls weird when I try to cinch the belt. This definitely seems like an afterthought that just doesn’t work. So disappointed as I love the concept and my ruck sack pack. I was hoping to use both my 20 and 30 pound plates to prep for a week backpacking trip in the Wind Rivers."

Being one with the Ruckpack.
"I know Rucking purists only want to use the shoulder straps. When I backpack in the mountains, I always like having the backpack close to me like it is a part of me. This and the sternum strap allow me to make the pack one with me."

Comfortable well padded belt to
"Comfortable well padded belt to decrease spinal compression and stress when going heavy. Kind of unusual how it attaches but surprisingly stays put. The large size is too big for me (31" waist) but snug enough to work."

Well made but difficult fit
"At 6’1”, the hip belt sits over my stomach when deployed on my 20L Rucker 4. 0 when I wear the pack up high on my back, as designed. If I shift the pack down so that the hip belt is at my hips, the pack weight seems off and my lower back gets strained which never happens when the load is high. So I’m not sure how much I will use it. Under 35 pounds, I don’t need a belt at all so this is for heavier loads."

my hips dont lie
"my hips won’t lie… down!! on the ground!!! because I keep moving!! Can’t stop, wont stop! My leather belt keeps my pants up, my lifting belt gets my weight up. This belt keeps me up. Get it foo!"

Forever Oscar Mike
"Adding the hip belt was a definitive game changer when it came to rucking heavier weights, especially in the 80 to 100 lb rucks. At near 60 years and 165lbs, I like to ruck at least half my body weight for 3 miles a few times a week, as well as training for Deka Fit Ruck events."

"Does what it does! I'm glad the pads are as thick as they are and not just for show."

Works well with Rucker.
"Did what I was hoping it would do, which is transfer some of the weight from my shoulders (traps), to my hips. Works well with my Rucker. Need all the help I can get, as an "old" guy. Excellent attachment too, once I figured out how lace it up per the video from the website."

My back and shoulders actually
"My back and shoulders actually felt better after rucking 5 miles today with the hip belt attached. Was able to attach my other accessories as well to the hip belt. Picture doesn't show the hip belt belt but my smile shows it all after I did the 5 mile ruck."
