Doug Patteson

A 6th generation Texan, Doug started his career with a decade of international service as a case officer with the CIA before entering the business and entertainment worlds. He currently leverages his intelligence experience by advising on show's like Netflix' The Night Agent and other network shows and films and by teaching intelligence officer aspirants at various US universities. A lifelong outdoorsman and explorer, Doug has been a member of The Explorers Club since 1998. He is also a member of the DefenderX expedition team, using amphibious capable Land Rovers to explore the world.In those pursuits around the globe, rucking has proven a clear necessity and GORUCK equipment and philosophy mesh perfectly with his approach.
