“You will never pass Special Forces training if you don’t learn how to take care of your feet.”

This was 2004 and my interest in socks, and footcare, became an obsession right then and there.

PADDING WHERE YOU ACTUALLY NEED IT

We got sick of wearing out other socks so we added more padding along the heel and ball of the foot. The heel padding is extended up to the achilles to actually give you cushion where you need it when wearing boots like MACV-1.

FITS RIGHT, EVEN AFTER ALL THE MILES AND ALL THE DAYS

Extended arch support and a natural fit through the ankle and calf makes for a comfortable sock that’s not too tight and doesn’t slip over time and distance. These socks maintain their shape wear after wear.

WEAR OFTEN, WASH SPARINGLY

Merino wool naturally resists bacteria and fights stink. Wear as often as you want without having to wash ‘em after each use. Saving you both water, and time.

Best socks with normal hiking shoes

"Used these with my MACV-2s while getting ready to go off to basic and OCS for the Army. Very comfortable and impressive for someone like me not having to wash them every time (I am a person who has very sweaty feet). Not sure if it's the MACV-2s not being broken in yet, but I did get some small blisters on the insides of my heels with these socks. With the Merino wool crew socks, they feel much better though."

Game changer, but no free??

"I never knew how much of a difference good socks can make. These socks are comfortsble to train and for leisure. On the down side, the order site made me think I was getting some free socks is if I ordered a certain amount, which I thiight I did. As much as I like the equipment I have received, I have learned not to ask about the free socks and just deal with the omission. At least my feet feel good."

Shocked

"I have rucked a lot in my life, and I started when I was 14. These socks didn't cause my feet to get hot and when paired with the MACV2 boots I had 0 hotspots or blisters. Before this combo I would always have hotspots and occasionally a blister, but this combo defeated that."

Caleb S. (5/5)

Comfortable socks made in the

"Comfortable socks made in the USA that I was pleased with for the first few weeks of wear. Only issue was within a month, I had thin material at my heel and ball of my foot. Before two months passed, I had holes in my toe box area."

AJ D. (3/5)

Great socks

"I've used them for HIIT, runs, and logging in waterpoof boots. My feet stay dry and cool. After the first or second wear and wash, they really opened up."

Logan F. (5/5)

Last socks I’ll ever buy.

"Best socks I’ve ever worn. Excellent odor and moisture management. Only wear these now. You really can wear these multiple days without odor. Haven’t had cause to use the scars guarantee for these socks, but I have used it on a ruck and they do come through."

"Love the fit and the feel of the Trail Cuff Socks. Perfect pairing with my MACV-1 Hi-Speed Mid-Top boots."

Good - warm feeling socks.

"Good - warm feeling socks. The right amount of bulk to fill the shoe but doesn't get under foot. Summer and winter use"

Francis E. (5/5)

"These Merino Socks are excellent, I’ve actually replaced all my socks with these and except for the dog chewing up a pair, all have worn incredibly well with minimal shrinkage"

Super comfy

"Yep. Love ‘em. Never wearing anything except Merino wool socks. The tab is nice on the back. Website color said charcoal, in reality it’s more of a heather gray. But it’s a great color all the same."
