Great for PT
"Needed a quality band for at home PT for two torn and one partial torn rotator cuff. This has been working well. Cut it in half, now I have two! Hope people find good uses for this!"
Applying a med band to your own elbow or shoulder sucks to do one-handed without the end slipping - even for those of us who Embrace the Suck. So we solved that problem.
We sewed an Anchor Loop onto one end of our Med Bands so that:
(1) If you’re wrapping your own elbow or shoulder to compress it - it’s way easier to do one-handed
(2) You can use the same band to stretch with - attach the Anchor Loop to your badass rig or a tree and get to work.
WHY - I got really bad elbow tendinitis from doing MURPH’s 100 pull-ups a few years ago. I went in cold and gutted it out — but pain, that old friend, became the great teacher. I followed my buddy Dr. Kelly Starrett’s protocols on The Ready State (floss and stretch) and it helped a lot. But one-handed wraps on standard med bands kept making me feel really dumb so we added an Anchor Loop. I’m still really dumb but at least we solved this problem! If you’re doing MURPH this year with the rest of us, use this hard. — Jason
PS this one is long enough that if you want, you can cut it with your Hattori Hanzo sword and then you'll have two (one classic style med band to go with your Anchor Loop Med Band).

"I’ve always had a voodoo band and it’s on its last leg. I’ve had tendinitis in elbow as well. Saw the video, heard a name I haven’t heard in in a while (Supple Leopard by Kelly Starrett) and the fact you can use it one handed sold me. That dude helped me with injuries a long time ago. Using it now for a calf issue…. Getting old sucks"
"I've been using bands like these for 7 years--mainly to help with numbness, swelling and restlessness from my achilles surgery. This one from GORUCK is a little thinner than my others, which means it folds/rolls down smaller, therefore easier to travel with. It's got plenty of length too. I recommend trying it out."
"Brilliant upgrade to the voodoo floss bands. Makes wrapping it yourself easy. No excuses. . ."
"Works. Makes wrapping my elbow easier."
"It just works."
"I picked up the Voodoo Floss Band from after dealing with persistent golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow symptoms for the past four months. The issue had started impacting my training capacity, especially heavier lifts and higher working volumes in the gym. While I wouldn’t call it a miracle cure, this has absolutely become one of the most effective tools in my recovery routine. Since incorporating it daily, I’ve noticed a meaningful improvement in both mobility and recovery, along with a reduction in discomfort during training sessions. More importantly, it seems to be helping me gradually restore confidence and capacity in movements that had become frustrating and limiting. The band itself is high quality, durable, easy to use, and holds tension extremely well. I use it every single day as part of my warm-up and recovery process, and it has become a consistent part of my training toolkit. If you’re dealing with connective tissue irritation around the elbow or repetitive strain from lifting, climbing, manual work, or grip-heavy training, this is absolutely worth considering as part of a broader recovery approach."
