CAPSTONE TACTICAL WEEKEND - GREENVILLE, SC
This event is one of the GORUCK SHOOTER CAPSTONE WEEKEND events.
A Capstone weekend is an intense series of back-to-back events crafted to challenge the elite and those who have proven their tactical grit and sharp decision-making under pressure. It’s a chance for Cadre to push participants to the edge of their skills in high-stakes, dynamic scenarios that demand accuracy, endurance, and real-world readiness. This isn’t basic training; it’s where like-minded warriors come to refine their craft and sharpen their edge.
Event qualification standards:
THESE ARE NOT BEGINNER EVENTS
Participants must be able to load and clear both a Pistol and Rifle with ease. Efficiency in Flat-range static shooting and the ability to score at least 80% on a 30-round course of fire from 12 meters. Skills emphasized in events include target identification, movement, weapons manipulation, and dynamic decision-making in a safe, scenario-based environment

COUNTER ACTIVE SHOOTER PISTOL
Course focus
A unique course for shooters of all skill levels who want scenario-based training.
Our Cadre will begin by reinforcing the fundamentals of safely operating a semi-automatic pistol - stance, grip, sight picture, sight alignment, and trigger squeeze - and physically demonstrate each course of fire prior to each drill.
All of the firing drills are based on real world scenarios and designed to fire at various distances, various positions, and single shot or rapid-fire engagement.
You will learn basic counter-terror strategies that will better equip you to react to active shooter situations.
COUNTER TERROR RIFLE
Course focus
Counter Terror Rifle is a fast-paced, scenario-based training course designed for shooters of all skill levels. Our Cadre will begin by reinforcing the fundamentals of safety while operating an AR-15 platform and physically demonstrate each course of fire prior to each drill. All of the firing drills are based on real-world scenarios and designed to fire at various distances, various positions, and rates of fire. Learn how to take your weapon from a point of storage to a point of threat contact. This will be accomplished by learning how to store, retrieve, load, and employ your weapon efficiently and effectively.
COMBAT MARKSMANSHIP DAY

Combat Marksmanship (CMMS) is intensive shooting Pistol & Rifle Combo course designed to elevate individual skills beyond basic marksmanship. To effectively and efficiently engage targets of different sizes at various ranges with primary and secondary weapon systems. Being able to operate in adverse conditions, while under psychological and physical stress, maximizing survivability and lethality. Reinforcing the fundamentals of basic marksmanship and to enhance the soldier’s ability to perform Combat Marksmanship.

Own The Night With Industry Standard Best Practices For Effective Threat Neutralization In Low Light Conditions. Combat Marksmanship (CMMS) is intensive shooting Pistol & Rifle Combo course designed to elevate individual skills beyond basic marksmanship. To effectively and efficiently engage targets of different sizes at various ranges with primary and secondary weapon systems. Being able to operate in adverse conditions, while under psychological and physical stress, maximizing survivability and lethality. Reinforcing the fundamentals of basic marksmanship and to enhance the soldier’s ability to perform Combat Marksmanship.
RUCK N” GUN - COMPETITVE CAPTSTONE
Course focus:
Ruck and Gun is an intensive individual and team pistol & rifle competition designed assess competitors fitness, mental agility, marksmanship communication, stress management, and team work. Athletes will be required to safely, effectively, and efficiently engage targets of different sizes at various ranges with their primary and secondary weapon systems, while under physical and mental stress. Athletes must be prepared to ruck with their entire packing list for 2-10 miles on uneven terrain with various elevation changes. Athletes must be able to lift, carry, and navigate with objects weighing 20-100 pounds around, over, and underneath obstacles. Winners will be crowned with the title Top Shot!
