24 HOURS. SIX-MILE LOOPS. HOW FAR CAN YOU GO?

APRIL 9–10, 2027 | TOCCOA, GEORGIA

THREE MILES UP. THREE MILES DOWN.

In 1942, American volunteers arrived at Camp Toccoa, Georgia, to begin training as paratroopers for World War II.

Among them were the legendary men of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, including Easy Company, later immortalized in Band of Brothers.

Their training ground was Currahee Mountain.

In April 2027, we're returning to that same historic mountain for an entirely different kind of endurance challenge.

THE MISSION IS SIMPLE:

You have 24 hours to complete as many six-mile loops from Camp Toccoa to Currahee Mountain and back as possible.

You determine your pace. You determine when to rest. You determine how far you're willing to go.

THE CLOCK NEVER STOPS.

This is an individual ruck-based endurance competition led by current and former U.S. Army Special Forces personnel.

CADRE DAN

Cadre Dan….Jason McCarthy handed Dan his first GR1® in February of 2011 full of bricks wrapped in a towel. Since then Dan has been pounding pavement and building better Americans as Cadre for GORUCK. Every once in a while, he comes up with a half decent idea that GORUCK uses to keep Dan happy. Fueled by Copenhagen, Coffee and pure aggression (staples in 3rd SFG) Dan loves storytime during events and doing anything outside.
