We built these Race Day Socks from the ground up for max breathability using a featherweight synthetic blend - proudly 0% cotton. We reinforced the high friction areas with nylon to ensure the toughness and performance you expect of all GORUCK products. And because they’re low/no show, there’s no extra fabric to slow you down, but just enough to keep blisters away and stay snug on your feet for the long haul.

• Additional Padding on High Friction Points: We created the perfect “secret sauce” of Specs + Materials for these high-wear points and added additional padding to prevent hot spots or blisters from forming before they even occur.
• Contoured to Your Foot: We anatomically shaped the sock to the natural shape of your foot and ankle for a more natural, comfortable fit. No slipping, no distractions—just performance.
• In high-stress areas (the toes, heel, and arch areas), there is a significantly higher percentage of nylon for toughness and to reduce the chance of developing blisters
• Body of the sock has a higher percentage of polypropylene
