"It's very nice. It is right in between sizes so it doesn't fully fill the large compartment in my rucker 4. p and doesn't fit in the small one but it is the size it said it was. It's made very well and with the pack will be almost the perfect weight for murphs."

Really thick.

"I bought these to replace my metal plates. The construction is top shefl for sure but obviously sand bags would be thicker than steel. These things are about 6 times as thick as my Rogue cast 10# plates. When I put one in both front and back of my Training Vest, I look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy and I had to redo the velcro to give me enough room to attach the straps. It is what it is but it would have been nice for GoRuck to actually mention fact this on their website. I have had such a frustrating experience with this vest that I wish GoRuck would take it and these two plates back and give me a refund. I am about to give up on rucking as one of my workout tools. These sand plates really are silly for rucking plates. I guess I didn't think it through."

Great alternative to the had

"Great alternative to the had plates. The plates dug into my back when sinched tight in the pack, so I used the sand ruck plate but filled it with lead shot to 30 lbs. Since it was malleable, it adapted to my back and was much more comfortable than that the 30 lb. plate. Quality is top notch. Price point is very fair."

My Sand Ruck Plate works

"My Sand Ruck Plate works beautifully with my Ruck Plate Carrier. Instead of sand, I use soft dive weights which are 2 to 5 pound packs filled with lead shot. The Sand Ruck Plate holds way more than 10# and the dive weights allow me to easily increase weight incrementally. Fantastic product - thanks!!"
