"Finally procured a GR1. While it's not a Rucker, it's pretty danged close. Ruckers are definitely purpose-built for rucking, this GR1 does it well and allows better packing of essentials. I like the inside molle, and the hidden pocket under the handle is a plus. A bladder can be used, but there isn't a hose port, but that's okay. Been using this for my morning mail-check rucks. It will also come in handy for traveling. I like the laptop pocket, it fits my 20# laptop just fine, haven't tried my 30# laptop yet, but it appears to have enough room for the 30 pounder."

"Bag is great. Lives up to the hype. Feels very sturdy and is a lot heavier than I thought! Don't worry, the canvas is not too thin! Size is good, if you are tossing up, just get the 26L, it's not too big. Bag is less comfy on the back when it's empty due to the solid build and frame sheet, but it's built to be loaded up."

"This Heritage pack was purchased solely because of the materials. GORUCK has already established quality and durability standards that set the standard for these types of packs. My two other packs have never let me down and are constantly used for heavy loads, a GR2 for work with 30+ pounds of gear every day and a dedicated rucker that seems to handle 45 - 75 lbs far easier that I do. This canvas pack is not intended to serve as a ruck but is handling the weekend duty in style with all of the build quality that one expects from GORUCK.
