"My 4 Litre GR2 field pocket in bomb proof waxed canvas. Hmmm. . . in use packing it out I'm finding the capacity seems understated. I think it it's a bit of a Tardis (bigger on the inside) who knew !!! Anyway I'm sharing a few photos to illustrate my theory."

"The GR2 Waxed Canvas Field Pocket is an exceptionally versatile pocket pouch. Its rectangular in shape and is quite flat when empty making it easy to slip into a bag or backpack pocket. However it can be packed out to quiet a deep thick form with it's 4 litre capacity which handles all those awkward shaped items in it's stride. In Goruck's tradition of bomb proof and abundance of molly webbing it's heavily padded to protect your phone, mini Ipad and other expensive tech or vulnerable valuables. 3 different types of internal pockets are just the right organisational number and the substantial grab handle completes the layout."

Overbuilt for my needs

"Great quality. It has a decent amount of padding to protect contents. This bag could probably be strapped on an ATV and last for years. Only con is it is a little heavy for it's size. This is great if you are strapping outside of bag but if secured inside the bag it is overbuilt. My use case currently is securing inside a GR2 backpack. This bag is better suited as a standalone bag in my opinion. It may be converted into a first aid kit bag or a vehicle under seat bag."
