"I enjoyed using this mat to do some long distance shooting up in northern michigan. i really appreciate the grommets on the mat that allows you to anchor the mat in place which was necessary on a windy day. the mat itself is not heavy enough to withstand gusts, so you’re going to want to stake it or place some ammo bags on the corners when shooting on windy days. the mat was well thought out with anchor points for the bipod and the smart use of rigid and limited padding so the shooter isn’t disconnected from the terrain while reducing bounce as well. time will tell how durable it is but i got it pretty dirty and I’m feeling pretty optimistic. i would have appreciated packing instructions, but the accordion style mat is pretty intuitive to figure out. i felt like i had to fold it a couple of ways to get it right. goruck states the mat will fit in a 26L bag but in my lbt 3day i had to use the straps on the back to squish it in place when not carrying in a bag, the mat has a clip to keep it nice and tidy and reinforced carry handles to ensure an ergonomic transport. i’m pretty happy with my purchase!"
