About the Event

Get ready for a fun Saturday evening in Jacksonville Beach! We’re bringing together fitness and community service for the Brew Ruck Supporting The Salvation Army.

Starting at GORUCK HQ, we will load up our rucks and walk to three of Jax Beach’s favorite local craft breweries: Southern Swells, Ink Factory Brewing, and Green Room Brewing. Enjoy discounted drinks at each stop while making a real impact—every dollar raised directly supports The Salvation Army’s local programs and outreach efforts in our community.

We'll cap off the night back at GORUCK HQ awarding top-tier GORUCK gear and brewery prize packs!

Ruck Awards 

Event registration will include eligibility to win a variety of donated prizes. Guests will have an opportunity to purchase additional registrations, with proceeds benefiting The Salvation Army

What to Bring

• Rucksack / Backpack: Add weight if you want a workout (10–30 lbs), or come with an empty pack!

• Photo ID: Must be 21+ with valid government-issued ID to drink alcohol.

• Hydration: Water bottle or hydration bladder for between stops.

• Safety Gear: Reflective bands, lights, or headlamps for evening walking.

• Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or boots.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be present at HQ at the end of the ruck to win Ruck Awards?

Yes! The Ruck Awards drawings will take place at each brewery stop. Winners must claim their prizes on-site at HQ.

Do I need a weighted ruck to participate?

Not at all! Ruck with as much or as little weight as you feel comfortable carrying—an empty backpack works great too.

What if I don't drink alcohol?

All participating breweries offer non-alcoholic beverages, sodas, and water. Everyone in the community is welcome to walk and support the cause.
