Rucking has been around for over two million years. Our bodies evolved to efficiently carry weight back to the tribe, high and tight on our backs. Two thousand years ago, Roman Legionnaires used rucking as a test to select their best soldiers, a practice that continues with today’s Special Forces. And the body remains as da Vinci drew it, elegant in its creation and refined to ruck weight over time and distance, on our backs. This is the life we choose.
The Rucker® 5.0 supports for your spine’s natural curvature while you’re out crushing calories, building strength, and saving your joints one step at a time — and it retains the fit and feel that is as timeless and natural as the human body.
The Rucker is the greatest and most comfortable rucksack ever built. Though many imitators exist now, it has no equal. The only thing tougher and more elegant than the Rucker is the person using it, and that means you.
NEW FOR 5.0:
Lumbar Support: A “damn that’s big” foam pad designed for maximum lumbar and lower back support.
Magnetic Internal Pockets: Upgraded internal storage with silent, snag-free magnetic closures for quick and secure access that will not get crushed like zippers and function way better than VELCRO.

Bomb proof
"This bag is bomb proof. After I bought it I saw kid proof warranty. This bag would be perfect for my kids who need a new bag every semester. In the week that I have had it I’ve been on three rucks. Boy do you work up a sweet. Rucking is amazing because I have never been a runner. So I think this will still be hard on my joints at least I won’t be pounding my joints. Recommend this bag to anyone who asks and wants to get into rucking."
— Daniel R. (5/5)
Perfect all round ruck pack
"Very comfortable especially with the waist belt. Really like the flexibility for carrying a large range of weight. Well structured for keeping weight plates in place and allows for carrying extra gear. If considering only one style of ruck pack this is probably the best one. I got the 20 L. It fits well and has plenty of extra space inside and out for extra storage even with plates in place. I am 6’1” fit 190lbs."

Rucker 5. 0 review
"Loving the Rucker 5. 0 so far. I was using an Osprey daypack before, but the shoulder straps weren't very wide and there was no ventilation on my back. With the Rucker, the straps are set slightly wider apart and are far more padded and comfortable. The lumbar support really works well too. It took a couple of short rucks before the Rucker felt as comfortable as it is now. I have no regrets at all and am loving this new pack!"
— Mike S. (5/5)
Perfect Ruck Pack
"Holds the weight in place very well. It fits well; sinch it to size. The materials seem durable. I like that you can hold a water bottle in there too, plus the internal compartments are magnetic and work very nicely. It fits nice and snug and is easy to carry on a hike."
— Christian A. (5/5)
I added the hip belt
"I added the hip belt and a three liter water bladder and rucked this pack three times for a total of 18 miles at approx. 11:33 per mile. It carries the load securely and feels comfortable. I’m completely happy with the purchase and look forward to my first event (12 mi City Tour) next month."
— Mark M. (5/5)
Great Pack
"Great addition to my gear for exercising. The fit is definitely better than any standard backpack I’ve worn while weighted. It’s comfortable and doesn’t put any unnecessary pressure or strain on areas you aren’t trying to train."
— Jordan P. (5/5)
The customer service team is
"The customer service team is very helpful. I had a detective part on my bag and they sent a replacement bag the next day. I plan on buying my kids bags in a he futures. I have taken in out twice and the weight is discarded evenly. I barely notice the weight."
— Todd D. (4/5)
Excellent made. Very comfortable given
"Excellent made. Very comfortable given that rucking is not that comfortable in the first place. I was using a regular backpack which tore apart at the seams and hung below my waist. I was amazed at how well this pack set higher and was quickly able to add more weight without worrying if it would hold up to the extra load."
— Rick B. (5/5)
Excellent product! I have not
"Excellent product! I have not rucked since was in the Army, and I forgot how good it feels to complete a solid road march. I already took her out for a two mile road march, and this products feels better than the rucksacks we were issued. The weight rides up high, so it does not pound the lower back. And with proper road marching technique (Thank you Ist Sargeant Motta!) there is no pain in the joints. My wife was so impressed she asked me to order her one."
— John G. (5/5)
Beautifully Made
"The Rucker 5. 0 is a beautifully made backpack. It just oozes quality in all aspects, visually and by feel. I’m looking forward to years of rucking with it. Love the Ranger Green colour. I would have preferred the inside be a muted colour and not the neon orange, but that’s a triviality. I’d buy it again if I lost it."
