GORUCK TRIBE CALENDAR

A red skull and crossbones with

January // KNOW THYSELF

GORUCK Tribe is more than a daily training program—though it is that, with scalable workouts for all abilities and a patch to earn every month. But Tribe is so much more. It’s been called the “soul” of GORUCK and the “community-building action arm” of everything we stand for. We couldn’t agree more. Real accountability doesn’t come from just another training plan or a gym full of mirrors. It comes from the people around you—your Tribe—who push you to show up and get after it every day.

  • WORKOUT // KNOW THYSELF
  • BOOK // Tribe by Sebastian Junger (If New to Tribe); Adrift: Seventy-six Days Lost at Sea by Steven Callahan (Returning Tribe)

Pink heart-shaped skull with Roman numerals MMX and XVII-II on a black background.

February // BEAUTY

After retiring from the military, tattooing fell into my lap. Through that work I tend to see emotions and stories as images. This month’s theme is “Beauty”. We also celebrate Valentine's Day with our V-day Massacre workout. At times with Tribe, our theme and workouts don’t necessarily match. The themes we pick are for you to pause and consider. This month the theme and workout paired nicely…
There is nothing as beautiful as love, especially knowing everything in our life is finite…
Do the workout, earn the patch, and consider what love and beauty mean to you…

March // MYSTERY

Mystery–the question of what is just beyond the known, around the corner, up the stairs and through the door. Take a step into the unfamiliar. Let yourself be changed by what you find. This is courage; this is growth. Look up at the night sky, stop thinking, and just feel. What will we find? What will we be?

April // Break

A clown’s laughter is a spark of magic,
It defies despair and affirms the resilience of the human spirit.
The clown weaves light into the shadows turning sorrow into play.
Let it remind us to embrace playfulness in a world that often takes itself too seriously.
