The 210D backing is smooth

"The 210D backing is smooth on clothes and skin. It feels nice as I walk. The 1000D exterior is rugged and simple. The zippers and handle break in quickly, complying instead of resisting movement. Excellent day bag to hike with around my local parks."

Best pack ever

"I own one of the 1st run GR0, I’ve had this thing for I don’t even know how long anymore, 14yrs maybe? Anywho it’s still going strong, even after falling out of a moving Vic doing over 30mph. It’s seen better days but it is by far my favorite bag ever! I’ll own this thing until it dies which means it will probably outlast me!"

Reduces shoulder aches, NOT deep enough

"I'm 5'2", so the hight of the pack is perfect. I use the bag for my commute and I will test it for travel this week. I love that it is secure against my back and on my shoulders. The chest strap was a must on my check list and I adjusted the hight of it (reduces shoulder aches). The laptop pocket is the heaviest padded I've seen. I'm using the interior MOLLE and the pocket below it to organize charging cords and pens. The pockets are just big enough. The material is stiff but is slowly becoming less so. The main zipper split the first day and it took a while to get it aligned again, this hasn't happened again. Why I gave it a 4 star: 4. 25 D isn't deep enough. It's difficult to see the bottom of the bag (I had a pair of dark socks down there) with stuff in the pockets (not full pockets), and there's barely enough room to carry an extra jacket/sweatshirt. There's no room for shoes inside, some might tie them to the MOLLE, that doesn't work for me."

Great and versatile bag!

"Great travel bag for short trips or day hikes/ruck with some protection from wet climates. Easy access pocket on the outside and hydration port under handle. Well made and fits into my GR3. Love the dark green color."

Christopher W. (5/5)

Be Aware of Sternum Strap Failure

"It would be great but there's no sternum strap or way to add one. I wouldn't order again if I knew how much it needed one."

Ryan D. (3/5)

"Absolutely awesome bag, ordered the X-pac version initially and didn’t particularly care for it. This one is absolutely perfect."

Logan G. (5/5)

Nice bag but will not fit larger laptops - missing dimensions

"The laptop pocket did not fit my laptop (15" Macbook pro) and pocket dimensions were not listed on the website. Unfortunately, this could not serve as the versatile rucking and travel backpack I had hoped for and the item was returned."
