GR1 opens flat to make it easier to pack, organize, and find something when on the go. Special Forces medical rucks share a similar design. Inside you'll find 3 interior pockets: 1 large elastic pocket, 1 large mesh zippered pocket, and 1 small go-to pocket.
The separate compartment next to your back is extra reinforced to securely take a laptop into combat. The frame sheet adds structure and stability so it's not you computer that's keeping the GR1 in its shape. Keep your most important item of gear safe wherever you go.

"GR1 26l was more bigger for me, I ordered a 26l 1000D, I think I should order a 21l, overall the design and quality was excellent, I have TAD fastpack, the TAD much heavier and smaller, so I want a bigger and lightweight, I found you web site and order the big one, but GR1 26l bigger than my expectation, it my own fault, Thanks so much."

The 1000D Cordura material has a distinct tactile sensation, feeling organic and pleasant to touch. The zippers are robust, smooth with little resistance. "Super sturdy bag. 1000d feels tough but not like it will abrade my clothes - almost supple. Great size. Minor gripes about build quality, lots of excess thread or loosening thread, uneven/skewed side molle, and a stitch run in the front panel fabric that im willing to chalk up as character. Also wish the patch matched the listing pics, but thats super minor."
"Best GR1 varient yet! 1000D all over, with quick access pocket. Ive owned one of the first versions of fhe GR1 and 1000D is the real deal once broken in. I wear a ton of polyester or cotton blind shiets, nylon bomber iackets, M65 jackets etc. none have been roughed up by the backpack. The USA flag on the interior is a nice touch too. My only wishes are that it came with a key strap/D ring in the slash pocket; and including the chest strap would be much appreciated. I would buy again."
