Fantastic Travel Bag

"This is an extremely comfortable bag. I did not expect the load distribution to be so ideal out of the box. I love the staggered zipper layout in the first pocket. It helps so if you are in crowded areas with pickpockets you can hold documents and cash in a safe spot by zipping the outside to the bottom right and placing valuables to the left (or vice versa). This bag will most likely outlast my life on Earth. The quality is that remarkable."

None can compare to GoRuck bags.

"This is an excellent GoRuck bags. I got 34L and 40L both Army Ranger colours. I love both of them. I can fit my hydration bladder in to my bag. This is my go bag when I’m travelling, hiking and biking."

Beach-bound from the Centurion Lounge

"Not quite “single-bag travel” since I also took the 2-compartment laptop bullet, but I greatly appreciated and benefited from the GR2’s capacity and organization features. It was far lighter to carry than I expected; however a backpack can be challenging when you’ve spent too much time under the sun! Not an issue when gate agents were pressuring passengers to check carry-ons at no cost (thank you (not!) Aeromexico). Might permanently switch from trolleys to the GR2 after I have this one customized, and might purchase a larger one too!"

Great bag. Hoping for easier/better zippers.

"I am hoping the zippers are much easier to open than on my waterproof GR2. Honestly, I didn’t really want to buy another one but the zippers are so tough on the waterproof GR2, it makes it painful for every day use. Other than that, the bag is fantastic. Big fan. I gave it to my son for a trip to Japan and he absolutely loved it. It’s a great bag. Well done."

Exceptional Quality GR2

"Quality gear as always. Under promise, over deliver. The GR2 is functionally brilliant. Pockets where they should be, zippers that don’t break. Easy access to all spaces. Beyond durable, it’s engineered to last. It’s not cheap. But it will last. But once cry once but you’ll be grateful you did. K. D. Class 45"

Love from S. Korea

"It is a great bag. I love it right away. It took about two weeks to get it in South Korea. That was the only hard part. I looking forward to many memories with GR2 bags. I am sure it will last forever."

Excellent travel bag

"I am in the search for a perfect travel bag that is polyvalent. I think I found it. It is very well made, great fabric, strong stitching, heavy duty zippers. The design is close to perfect. The pockets are well though and the opening is convenient as you can lay the bag flat open it and access everything. The internal pockets are great to organize things. I really like the internal pockets have different opening direction. My favorite are the top pocket as they open toward the top of the bag which make access easy when you are in the plane and your bag is under the seat in front of you: you don’t need to move your bag out and you can still grab what you need by opening just the top. Internal mole webbing is nice but maybe not useful to every one. I use it with a carabiner to attach my keys and an inflatable neck pillow. The computer pocket is very accessible and seem to protect well. There is another pouch/ pocket inside the main compartment very good for tablet or second computer. It is a comfortable bag to carry even load as the straps are wide and very well positioned. Esthetics of the bag is great. I am not too much a fan of tactical look but this bag is discreet and does not have any flashy feature in the outside that screams tourist. The bag looks like an everyday bag and when traveling abroad it is good as you do not stand out. I used to have other brand and people can see you coming from a mile away. The external mole webbing is convenient and not so much visible. Capacity in 34l is plenty for most people. I love how the second compartment is designed. There is some kind of hinge/ fold at the bottom foam that fold the compartment or expend it automatically. So when not too load the bag is slim. You can load quite a bit of thing in this bag. Be careful as it might hurt get quite thick and tough to slide under front seat in a plane. The 34 l is perfect to fit side ways under seat in plane so you have room for your feet. Drawback is the belt: none come with the bag and you need to get one. I am not sure about the belt system sold by Go Rick. Seems pretty big. I made my own as I just need a belt to hold the bag when I am running a cross the airport to catch my plane (happened more than once). It is just a strap with special hook to latch on the molle webbing. Other drawback is the price, not cheap but it is a great value. Thinking about it I spent way more on all the different bag I tried over the years. With this one is buy once cry once type of deal. You get a lot for the price and if you plan on traveling or even everyday use , this bag is perfect. Almost a do it all. Worth the price. Nice touch is the logo Velcro patch: you can customize it and chose what to put. I also added a strap pouch for my phone access. I also changed the inside zipper pull for high visibility one: helps finding them in low visibility condition. I kept the black one outside."

Best bags around!

"Great backpack! Rugged, great organization, and big enough for gym workouts or as a large edc. I already have a GR1 21L, so this is just a great addition as a larger bag. Works great for military ops."

Elena M. (5/5)

Shouldn't have waited

"I've been holding off on getting this one for over a year and finally bit the bullet. Wish I had done it a lot sooner. This was the perfect upgrade from my GR1 26L as my EDC pack"

Tyler M. (5/5)

Fraudulent product information

"The product page has a video and a section about how brilliant it is with 210d Cordura on the back panels and straps yet the product doesn’t have these features. Rubbish."
