GORUCK X CARRYOLOGY BERSERKER VIKING MACV TRAVELER BOOTS

The GORUCK MACV boots are designed for serious adventure, training, and events. For the GRXC3, we refined them for modern travel and exploration.

We eliminated drainage holes to prevent cold, wet feet in urban environments. A waterproof synthetic gusset on the tongue enhances water resistance, while the water-resistant leather construction keeps feet dry in deeper puddles.

Features

All-Terrain Outsole: Dual compound rubber for versatile performance. Wide Toe Box. 3mm Speed Laces. Rucking Offset: 13mm ideal heel-to-toe drop. Lightweight EVA Midsole. Premium Suede Molded Heel Counter. No Spacer Mesh - drain holes expel water with every step. Custom Compression Insert. Molded Toe Cap ensures boot keeps its shape. No Break-In Time. Rear Finger Loop for easy on/off. Water-resistant leather construction. Waterproof synthetic gusset on tongue.

Take Care Them, They'll Take Care of You

"I initially bought the regular MACV-1 Traveler because I could wear them while walking in the rain and not worry about my feet getting soaked. Also, I like the soles because they are easier to walk in urban settings than the MACV-2's. I then bought the GORUCK X Carryology Berserker Viking because it is a limited edition run, and its upgraded features. Also, I can also wear the Berserker's in more "refined" settings and not feel as though I just came in from the field. And even if I did, I would still feel pretty good wearing them."

WA Coast hike

"I was motivated enough by this past weekend's experience with these shoes that I wanted to share a review. We hiked from Lake Ozette WA thru the forest to the coast, then 3 miles up the exposed low tide rocks, then back to Lake Ozette. 40deg and raining. Thick wool socks made for a perfect hiking fit. Good traction for all but the slipperiest slimiest rocks - sensitive feel, there's a mix of support and agility that enabled some dicey balance situations. The long laces made it easy to adjust as the day went on. The thick leather or maybe the toe cap gave a little bit of armor effect, useful also for slippery rocks and barnacles. I would choose these boots again for most non-mountaineering hikes and definitely for travel. Top shape, great collaboration, wish I got an orange pair."

MACV are a must buy

"Go Ruck! I have to salute you on the MACV 1 - Traveler boots. After owning 3 various hiking boots, the MACV are hands down the best I have worn. I am an active walker/rucker and have found the boots to be extremely comfortable. The toe box is wide to prevent blisters but offers you a snug fit. They run true to size. The lacing works well and does require constant stops to tie laces. I have hiked almost 50 miles in the MACV as part of my 75 Hard training and found them to be reliable. I would highly recommend."

C. H. (5/5)

"2 stars for looks only. At 2 months old and on the 3rd casual wear, the pull loop ripped off, 2 weeks after "return window. " Not real confidence inspiring for the rest of this boots longevity. Unconvinced by the (probably paid) reviews of "broken in out of the box," I worn them several times about town before a real ruck. Just did my first short ruck in them, with my regular boot socks and less than 3 miles in, the quarter sized blisters that formed on my heels tore. Also, for the first time, I have blisters on top of a couple toes."

My boots 🥾

"I like them, they don't appear or attract attention, I weigh 240 lbs and in the past I have often had problems with shoes that were not designed by "people" in the trade. I have another pair of jungle boots by GORUCK and I am very happy with them. I recommend them to those looking for concreteness, they are well made!"

Agostino Z. (5/5)

buy them!

"This is my second pair of GO Ruck boots and they are everything they are advertised to be! All day comfortable right out of the box with minimal break in period. I wear them all day at work (critical care nurse) and while heavier than typical "nurse" shoes my feet have great support, protection, and traction. I have high arches and there is some contact at the top of that arch BUT I wouldn't do anything differently."

Old School is New School

"Great fit and style. Here is an "old school" suggestion, add a branded, GORUCK, shoe horn to the order. Breaking the back of the shoe to get it on would be over come by a simple shoe horn, plus it could be used for all those "other" rucking shoes in the closet."

Gary H. (5/5)

Very Comfortable.

"I really like how comfortable they are as well as professional. Has good support and good grip and I can wear them all day. I've never owned a pair of GORUCK boots before however I'm very pleased and will probably buy more. I missed out on the brown ones but if they ever come back in stock I'll get a pair of those as well."

Helen b. (5/5)

Traveler

"Love that I can wear it with my business casual clothes and love that I can shine it. The fit is not as wide as my other goruck shoes, there is some breaking in needed unlike my previous orders. Over all it’s a nice pair of shoes that can be both for rucking and business setting."

ERWIN N. (4/5)

Balance of form and function.

"This is a fantastic boot, and it serves the purpose of wetter climates while balancing dress, comfort, and functionality. True to form this boot protected me in near freezing weather (with Go Ruck wool socks) while providing all day comfort when walking around downtown Indianapolis. Put many miles on these every day and they looked sharp while remaining comfortable. Love that I can run in them when needed. Please make on in brown!"
