Duty Boot
"Picked up a pair to wear on duty (LEO). Tow cap shines up nicely with patience. Overall a solid and comfortable boot for all day wear and being on your feet. My only nit pick is I'll probably cut the rear pull loops, I hate when they catch the hem if my pants."

Best Quality
""I came across GoRuck products a few months ago. Since then, I’ve been a fan of GoRuck. The exceptionally high quality of the products, but also GoRuck's 'message' really appeal to me: Sports aren't just clean and sterile. It’s also about sweat, rain, heat, dirt, and pain. No pain, no gain. GoRuck also honors those who protect their homeland with their lives, drawing inspiration from military training methods and virtues. I bought the GoRuck MACV Traveller and I am extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship. Unfortunately, I have a high instep. Because of that, I had to swap out the original insoles for thinner ones. Now, this shoe fits like a glove. ""

Jack of all trades and master of all
"These boots are super-comfortable and robust. They have a professional appearance without compromising on what you can do with them, whether hiking or training or running. I’ve have another pair of GoRuck boots that are also amazing after seven years, and I have no doubt these will last a very long time, making them an outstanding purchase."

MACV-1 Travelers in Alaska
"Currently traveling through Alaska for work, 6 flights, 1500 miles of driving, walking through the bigger cities and small towns including some icy/ slush trails because it’s impossible not to seek out adventure up here. My Travelers are 1. Breaking in nicely and 2. Keeping my feet happy and secure. Thank you!"

Great Old School Quality
"About me: I am a 31 year law enforcement professional. I'm 6'2" 260 lbs. , and wear a 13-14 shoe. The MACV-1 Traveler is a really nice pair of well constructed boots. The fit and finish are superb. I was immediately impressed with the leather quality, stitching, and out of the box comfort. They also polish up well. I opted for size 13 after reading other reviews that described the MACV-1's suppleness and it's wide generous toe box. I've been enjoying them paired with quality merino wool socks. The MACV-1 Traveler is so nice that I will be purchasing another pair very soon as a backup pair."

Look good, but OUCH!
"These boots look great but they definitely need a lot more breaking in than advertised. I wore them around doing errands for a few days and had no issues. Then I decided to try them for rucking (which I normally do in Danner hiking boots). After one mile, I had one of the worst blisters of my life. . . and I'm an endurance trail runner so I do not say this lightly. They seem more fashion than function, but hopefully they will still work for walking around in the city with a laptop bag. I like the other things I've purchased from this brand but I can't recommend these."

Bring back MACV-1
"I was too late for the MACV-1’s when I found GoRuck. I have the MACV-2’s and the traveler’s. I must prefer the travelers when rucking on paved road. The MACV-2 lugs are too aggressive. These boots are well made and can hold up. I wish they would make them with canvas (MACV-1s). Only issue is the pull tab. They break."

Toe box too narrow
"The quality of the material is excellent; however, the toe box is too narrow. I wore them to work once, and they caused significant foot pain that lasted for two days. Unfortunately, I’m no longer eligible for a return under the policy. I removed the insoles to see if that would make them more tolerable, and it seems to have helped somewhat."

10/10 recommend
"I’ve worn a lot of boots in my years as an LEO and these boots surpassed my expectations out of the box. Durable, comfortable, and minimal break in time!"
