Sweet vest
"Fantastic fit. Comfortable. Stable with exercise. Put about 20miles on so far and I have no complaints. I do wish there was a 45lb option with the vest. Lots of guys train for the forest service pack test and 30lb is a little light."

And ours are the best. The purpose of a weight vest was never to make it hard to breathe. We cut a hole in our plates to take the weight off your diaphragm, improving breathing during tough workouts and recovery between sets. The cutout, as well as the contoured design, also makes the vest a whole lot more comfortable.

We build our vests with rucksack-style straps, because thin, unpadded straps digging into your shoulders is painful and unnecessary. Meanwhile, the swimmer’s cut and lowered neckline of the plates add freedom of movement and range of motion to create the best weight vest for the most dynamic exercises. You're no longer in danger of breaking your chin doing kipping pull-ups.

From the original GORUCK Challenge in 2010 to events all over the world, quality and attention to detail are a part of our DNA. The Rucking Weight Vest is no different: built from the same materials (500D and 210 Cordura) to the same standards, this vest is built to last a lifetime.

We back all our gear for life. Buy once, and you’re set. We build our bags with military-grade materials so they can take a beating — and if it ever fails, we’ll fix it or replace it right here in the USA at our Jacksonville Beach Headquarters. No fine print, no BS. That’s the GORUCK Scars Lifetime Guarantee.

"Feels good in my body- I’m 6ft 230 lb postpartum and this 16lb vest fits great for walking and body weight workouts. I’m still getting the perfect adjustment but its first week has been killer. I’m particularly impressed by the lifetime warranty knowing that if something wears out or breaks, GoRuck will back it up. That said, this thing is built sturdy."
"This is my first weight vest and I love it! With the curved plates it fits great. The velcro is super sticky and I have no worries about it coming undone. 20# makes a normal workout a little extra spicy. As usual with GORUCK products, it is well built and function first."
"I was skeptical about the new plate design but wow does it make a difference. Less pressure on the diaphragm makes it significantly easier to breathe. The quality of the vest certainly meets GoRuck standards (overbuilt). I may switch out the cummerbund to a stretchy one for comfort but the one on it seems super durable. My wife loves it as well."
"Very impressed. The shoulder straps are well cushioned and the curved plates fit well against chest and back. I originally ordered a S/M because I tend to prefer a smaller carrier, but definitely recommend the L/XL for anyone over 190 lbs or medium build."
"I bought this vest based on reviews of the gen 3 go ruck vest, and most of the reviews recommended buying your own weights, which I should have done. But it seemed like it would be easier to buy a set of two from go ruck so I did that. But the curved weights are exactly the same size; there isn’t a back plate and a front plate, and the back pocket and front pocket are definitely different sizes. So the back plate fits fine and the front plate is super awkward. I’ll buy a new plate for the front, but it’s a pain. Why sell them as a pair if they don’t fit in both pockets? Or why have your site recommend them if they don’t fit? It’s a good vest, I’ve used it for walking, running, and body weight work outs. It’s comfortable and fits well, and the Velcro works fine. Despite the fact that the front weight sticks out of the bottom of the front pocket because it’s not the right size, the Velcro holds up. So this is a great pocket but don’t buy the pair of curved go ruck plates that the store recommends automatically."
"I had been eyeing this vest for awhile after growing frustrated with my previous entry level, 20 pound vest from another company. I was thrilled when GORUCK released the 30 pound curved plate option. I wear this vest daily on my morning dog and stroller walk. Time is limited these days and this has helped me get my heart pumping to start the day. The L/XL is a great, secure fit for me at 6'0" and 170 pounds. Add this to your workout arsenal!"
"The vest is great. I had the ruck sack first but it was not as smooth when it came to running and some of the other calisthenics. The vest distributes the weight well so I can even use it while doing some traditional weight lifting exercises. Great purchase!"
"Loved the vest but thought the L/XL would work better so did exchange and regretted the change. Large had too much movement/bounce with 30# and straps were awkwardly rubbing shoulders so returned it also. Plan to rebuy the S/M but disappointed the sale is over I’ve used a weight vest to train for ultra races in past and the GORUCK quality is by far the best especially the new plate style and securement Only negative is the waist strap should be slightly longer in length"
"I used my new weighted GORUCK vest today = it’s much better balanced than other brands & doesn’t feel like I went up in weight. L/XL was a comfortable fit on my 5’9” frame & the curved plates fit around my chest fine. Added bonus — when this vest wears out = it won’t leak sand all over the place."
