A tricky bag but quite well

"Grenade is a quite unique sling bag. While many similar products attach their shoulder straps either on lateral or upper side of the bag, grenade provide 4 attach point on the back. It’s quite stable even bind the strap asymmetrically. Besides, with some effort it could be turned into a mini backpack. I use spare parts from other manufactuer but any hook and clip with similar shapes would do this trick nicely. Denim does not look strange in urban environments, and this version includes a leather bottom. This one is labeled as Japanese denim so the samurai metal plate is not included, but I’m quite happy with the lovely goruck patch. It’s not big enough to put all EDC in it, but if limited to items require frequent access it’s surprisingly roomy. I even try to put one 12oz Hydro Flask and one compact monocular in it and fit well. A Velcro organizer insert or small pouch may be needed for small items. Overall I’m quite satisfied with this product, but it would be better if there are some premade features to fix it on belt to be used as waist pouch or other MOLLE system to act as a pocket."

An honest review.

"I did not have an expectation prior to ordering this GRanade. I recently bought a 21L GR1 Samurai and thought this would make a great addition. I recently had surgery on my left arm and needed a sling style bag to use right-handed. The design is pretty straight forward, just like a ruck there isn't a lot of room in the front zip pocket and would have preferred the Buffalo Velcro on both sides of the GRanade, but that is a personal preference. I am a little disappointed in how the Samurai Denim tends to really show usage of fingerprints and rubbing. It might be more so because the Denim is Black and will show wear more than a Blue Jean color. I am excited to see how the bag patinas and i am tempted to give it a coat of Filson Oil Wax to see to the finish holds up. All and all a useful addition, not sure if it will be something that I keep or eventually sell."
