Gym on Your Back

The first and only rucksack specifically built for Ruck Plates®.

We designed and built the Rucker® so that it would be the best rucksack for rucking, better than any rucking backpack on the market, and it is. Then we added more features so it would be the best for Ruck PT and GORUCK Events, and it is.

Rucker 3.0 // New Features

Zero Irritation When Rucking Shirtless

Say goodbye to friction burn. All-new 210D HT (High Tenacity) CORDURA® on the back panel and underside of the shoulder straps is less abrasive and doesn't irritate skin or chew up delicate apparel (looking at you, merino wool).

Ergonomic Lumbar Support

An additional 10mm of EVA foam padding along the bottom section of the back panel supports the natural curve of your back. It’s raised up, protects you from friction from seams on pants, belts orTough Leggingsor anything back there. And if it’s exposed to your skin, that’s no problem either.

Hi-Viz Reflective Safety Stripe

Reflective safety stripe across the front of the ruck allows for visibility even when on the move at night.

Redesigned Frame Sheet

3mm thick, full-width frame sheet no longer tapers towards the bottom, ensuring consistent support and rigidity no matter how high your ruck is cinched.

Tested + Proven

AT THOUSANDS OF GORUCK CHALLENGES SINCE 2015

Padded Handles for Ruck PT

Padded top, bottom, and side handles - four (4) in total. Use the padded handles for suitcase carries, overhead press, overhead lunges, thrusters, ruck twists, you name it.

Elevated Ruck Plate® Pocket

The Rucker® securely holds 10LB, 20LB and 30LBRuck Plates®high on your back in an elevated Ruck Plate® Pocket (the 25L size features a second pocket that secures a 45LB Ruck Plate® for up to 65 lbs of weight in your rucking backpack).

Optimized for Hydration

The rucker is equipped with an internal D-Ring to clip in your hydration bladder and an exit port for your bladder tube is found under the top handle of the ruck.

Training Sternum Strap (Removable + Adjustable)

Keeps the Rucker® secure without constricting breath or movement and is adjustable by the MOLLE on the straps.

Bottom Drain Holes

2 grommets on the bottom of the ruck to drain water for when you find yourself doing hydro burpees in the ocean, lake, or fountain.

Hip Belt Compatible

Complete with side MOLLE to integrate perfectly with thePadded Hip Belt. A hip belt allows you to distribute heavy loads to your hips over long periods of time while carrying your backpack for rucking (think the GORUCK Challenge or Star Course), plus keeps the ruck stable during Ruck PT.

Developing the Rucker 3.0®

When I first saw the Rucker 3.0 prototype, I was skeptical. I questioned the material selection and wondered if the lumbar support was something that would make a noticeable difference. I hate gimmicks. Life in Special Forces taught me to embrace the suck, but it also forced me to always search for a better way to do things, and to keep testing those theories in reality. In this case, there would be no substitute for a ton of miles, carrying anywhere from 20 to 90 pounds.

The first thing I focused on was the lumbar support. Immediately, I found it a marked improvement, like nothing I’d ever felt, but time would reveal the real truth. Over the next several months, I found myself never reaching for my older rucks. It was always Rucker 3.0. This was when I knew it was a winner. Then, sharing it with some other Cadre who had the same reaction — that was all the confirmation I needed.

The new 210D back panel fabric — I wondered whether it would hold up, so I began doing PT in my garage and in my driveway, drags and pulls and all sorts of fun GORUCK style stuff. Over and over, again and again, and my driveway turned into the proving grounds with our local GORUCK Club. We had zero issues, it was all performance, no failure. The back panel is not a place where you see a ton of exposure, but at our Challenges you see enough, and at Selection you see more, so it has to hold up. The most recent Cadre Reunion event confirmed what we had already tested: when pain is the name of the game, it’s nice to have some small comfort in your life, and a back panel that causes zero friction burns is the way to go. And it doesn’t fail. I’m not skeptical at all anymore. Rucker 3.0 is the most comfortable rucksack I’ve ever worn, and it’s not close.
