  • 3 Mile Ruck
  • 12 Rounds:

6 x Sandbag/Ruck Rows
6 x Burpee Squats (Full Burpee with Jump followed by Squat)
6 x 4 Ct Mountain Climbers
6 x Rucksack Getups 

  • 3 Mile Ruck

Rucking: 1 mile/day, every day. Use baseline weight.

Additional Tasking: Write down something positive that you want to do this year, and what you need to do to be ready. As opposed to cutting things out that you think of as negative, add a goal to your life that is positive. It works better.

15 minute AMRAP:
- 3 sandbag hang cleans
- 3 sandbag press
- 6 push ups

Significance: This month we will honor USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis "DT" who was killed on February, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. You pick the weight and if you want a single or a double serving of shared pain.

Rucking: 1 Miler , 2 Miler, 3 Miler, 4 Miler, 5 Miler - ALL TIMED at baseline weight for you, or 45/30 (heavy). At least 2 full days rest between each one. See how you do.

Hold water in mouth throughout entire workout like Apache Run.


SignificanceLori Piestewa was the first Native American woman KIA. Ambushed in the attack where Jessica Lynch was taken POW. Her surname is derived from a Hopi language root meaning "water pooled on the desert by a hard rain"; thus, Piestewa (Hopi: [piˈɛstɛwa]) translates loosely as "the people who live by the water."

Rucking: RUCK: -3x 1 mile “Apache” Rucks. Mouth full of water. Only nose breathing.

-12 miler Timed. Go hard.
